The club is a non-profit organization run by skiers, for skiers (and snowboarders, too). CJSC was formed in December of 1971, and with steady growth we acquired our own VERMONT SKI LODGE in 1975. I'm running this meetup group for a friend who had a stroke which resulted in aphasia and some paralysis. He attends a group in Staten Island and wanted to start something similar closer to home, where stroke survivors could socialize, exchange information and tips, and build confidence.
